The PID
The product information file (PID) is mandatory for all cosmetic products manufactured in Switzerland. Contains the product description, safety report for the product and its bottle, manufacturing methods and efficacy tests. The preparation of the DIP includes tolerance tests. In fact, every cosmetic product must be safe for human health when used normally.
Our cosmetics are manufactured in an ISO 22716 certified laboratory, this standard defining good manufacturing practices.
The affirmations about hydration
Hydration tests are different from tolerance tests. They are carried out separately to ensure humidity characteristics. The moisturizing properties of our face and hand creams are all tested and verified, as we only offer products that guarantee high-quality hydration.
Packaging information
According to Swiss regulations, a cosmetic product can only use safe ingredients and the list of ingredients (INCI list) must be indicated on the packaging. However, it is forbidden to indicate on the packaging what the product does not contain. For example, some parabens are prohibited, so a compliant product does not contain any. However, you cannot state "free of parabens" on the packaging.
Similarly, the Swiss legislation prescribes production without animal testing (cruelty free). Therefore, a compliant cosmetic product is necessarily manufactured without animal testing and should not be labeled on the packaging as cruelty free.
However, since consumers appreciate this information, we can indicate on this page that our products are cruelty free, and free of parabens, silicone and other petroleum derivatives.
