Natural cosmetics with active ingredients from the Alps
Founded in Valais in 2026, our company creates natural cosmetics using locally grown Alpine plants and glacier water.
Dehydration, tightness, redness, blemishes, insufficient collagen production… You’d like to take action to restore your skin to a healthy, clear and perfectly balanced state, and treat it to the most suitable cream. Faced with such a wide choice of brands, you may sometimes feel overwhelmed or disillusioned. We’re well aware of this problem because we face it too.
We love simple, effective routines. We created Rosa Alpina by Cy to provide the skin with the natural active ingredients it needs and restore its balance.
Each of our products addresses a specific concern: helping normal skin maintain its balance, relieving discomfort in sensitive skin and restoring its balance, and supporting the epidermis and dermis of mature skin.
How? Thanks to Alpine plants grown in Valais. Thanks to glacier water from the Swiss Alps, which provides the skin with the minerals it needs.
We use active ingredients from Alpine plants with antioxidant properties, such as edelweiss, white génépi and common sage, moisturising properties, such as wood mallow, and anti-inflammatory properties, such as German chamomile and calendula, along with water from one of our glaciers, rich in minerals.
We combine them to create high-quality synergies that provide long-lasting hydration for the skin, protect it and support the production of natural collagen.
Swiss Made
We created Rosa Alpina by Cy in the Swiss canton of Valais, as close as possible to our raw materials.
Our formulations are developed with a laboratory in Valais. Our cosmetics are manufactured and packaged in Valais, and we endeavour as far as possible to work with Swiss packaging suppliers.
According to the Ordinance on the Use of Swiss Origin Indications for Cosmetic Products of 23 November 2016, the “Swiss Made” label is reserved for cosmetics where at least 60 per cent of the production cost and at least 80 per cent of the research and development and manufacturing costs have been incurred in Switzerland. For our cosmetics, more than 80 per cent of the production cost and 100 per cent of the research and development and manufacturing costs are incurred in Switzerland.
Safe cosmetics
A Product Information File (PIF) is mandatory for every cosmetic manufactured in Switzerland. It includes a product description, a safety report on the product and its packaging, manufacturing methods, evidence of efficacy and tolerance tests. Furthermore, the moisturising properties of our face and hand creams are all tested and verified, as we only offer products that guarantee high-quality moisturisation.
Our cosmetics are manufactured in an ISO 22716-certified laboratory; this standard defines good manufacturing practices.
Our skincare products are vegan (with the exception of formulas containing beeswax), free from added fragrances, petroleum-derived chemicals and endocrine disruptors, and, of course, cruelty-free. The scent you’ll notice when you open a bottle is the authentic fragrance of the active ingredients.
Because skincare should be a pleasure to use, without any complicated routines, our formulas are easily absorbed and offer immediate sensory pleasure, combining freshness and softness for healthy-looking skin.
